Families keen to enjoy a camping holiday for the first time may find that Clippesby Hall in Norfolk is a good place to pitch up their tents for a few days.
David Addy, camping and tents buyer for Go Outdoors, recommended various sites in the UK which are good for camping, with Clippesby Hall praised for its facilities.
While on a camping holiday there, families can look forward to tennis courts and a swimming pool among other features.
Alternatively, mum, dad and the kids can take their camping equipment to Wapsbourne Manor Farm in East Sussex, which Mr Addy described as an "idyllic farm" with plenty to keep everybody happy.
Another good place to pitch the family tent is Humble Bee Farm in North Yorkshire, with Mr Addy telling the newspaper that this is an especially good place for those with young children.
Those hoping to go camping around Loch Lomond may find certain areas of it out of bounds after Loch Lommond and the Trossachs National Park approved new by-laws restricting people to designated camp sites.
