Concern has been raised over illegal wild camping taking place in a part of the Lake District.
Tents have been put up at Ulpha Bridge and Ulpha Flats, with worries over the behaviour of those spending weekends under canvas there being reported to the police.
Commenting on the situation, Ulverston's rural community and wildlife crime officer John Baldwin said he was well aware of the issue.
He stated: "At a recent Safer Stronger Communities meeting, local residents identified anti-social behaviour in the valley during summer months as their policing priority. This includes illegal camping, as well as litter, fires and parking issues."
Those who want to bring their tents and camping equipment to the Lake District can use a range of official campsites to do so.
Wild camping without permission is illegal in England and Wales, but not in Scotland.
However, there has been action in a national park there as well, amid concerns about anti-social behaviour, with the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park recently banning such activities alongside a stretch of the loch's eastern shore.
