Just bought one, it was on offer instead of the vango karkum 2+2, £34.99 instead of £67.99 www.gooutdoors.co.uk/hi-gear-pitch-and-go-ds2-tent-p143503.
Its a Gelert badged up as Hi Gear like a lot of Hi gear stuff.
It comes in a circular bag 3 feet across by 3 inches high. You get the tent which is folded into 3 loops, 14 metal tent pegs which fit into a pocket inside the bag, 3 tent poles 4 sections long that also fit into a pocket inside the bag, sewn in instructions, A fly sheet and attached hi vis guy lines.
Setting up is easy, just open the bag and slide the elastic strap off the tent. the tent will then pop up into shape.
Use 3 pegs at each end to fix to the ground. The poles need to be assembled next, slid through the channels and slotted into the plastic elbows, with the pins being inserted into the poles at the bottom of them. Take the fly sheet out and place it on the tent, attach each corner using the plastic buckles. Peg out the ends of the fly sheet using a metal peg then peg out the guy lines, one each side and one each corner.
Done.
The down side to this tent is that its inner first and the inner has mesh to the top so if its lashing it down with rain you'd have to be quick to get the fly sheet on. It may be possible to store it with the fly sheet on I've not tried.
Positives are it's quick to put up, 1 minute.
Its roomy, you can fit a double air bed in.
It's double skin so shouldn't get condensation often associated with pop up tents.
All the kit fits into the one bag and is flat so will fit on top of anything in the boot.
Taking it down can be a problem www.youtube.com/watch?v=6EqNi7XRkJM until you get the hand of it. The trick is to pull the ends on the ground up and hold them together. put it on its side, then take the loop which is now at the top and fold it into the middle then whilst holding it on itself push one of the poles that are now stick up each side downwards and push the other downwards on top of it.
